Life History of Great Southern White

Host plants recorded
in Texas' lower Rio Grande Valley:

  • Clammyweed, Polanisia dodecandra (in dry-weather leaves seem poisonous)
  • Cleome, Cleome hassleriana
  • Saltwort, Batis maritima
  • Southern Pepperweed, Lepidium austrinum (siliques and leaves; also ate Synthlipsis in captivity)
